Solo pre-selections. Final rounds in duos (random draw).
The teams will compete to the Live Band during the We Got Swing party.
QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications will take place in groups (heats) of 5-8 people,
dancing to three DJ tracks with different tempos (about 1 minute per song).
In addition to the two guests, 14 participants will be selected by the jury and will advance to the quarter-finals.
The 16 selected dancers will be randomly paired into duos:
the final rounds will therefore be in pairs (8 couples).
FINAL ROUNDS
Each dance duo will face another duo on two different tracks played by the live band.
2 rounds in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, with one solo round per dancer (1 minute each).
One track corresponds to one round, meaning the performances of two dancers (tempo: 180-200 BPM).
A round is not necessarily solo; depending on the chosen strategy, it can be performed as a duo.
There will be no imposed chorus—let yourself be carried away by the music!
At the end of each battle, the jury will announce the winning couple.
Four couples will be selected by the jury to advance to the semi-finals,
which will take place later in the evening—when the room is warmed up and the atmosphere is buzzing!
The semi-finals will follow the same rules as the quarter-finals.
The finalists will face off to a live performance by our orchestra,
with 4 rounds = 2 one-minute performances per dancer (tempo: 180-210 BPM).
