2vs2 Battle : Access to the qualifications (audience or participant) on Saturday afternoon and the finals on Saturday evening.
1vs1 All Styles Battle : access to the qualifications (audience or participant) and the finals on Sunday afternoon.
Access to We Got Swing party on Saturday evening (7pm to 2am)
Access to AJT After Party on Sunday evening (9pm to 12am).

€5 per battle (audience or participant).
Starting at €16: entry to the We Got Swing evening (2vs2 Battle Finals). Presales open on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

PASS1 : intermediate level

You have already taken one or more years of Solo Jazz/Charleston classes.
You master the basic vocabulary, know the Shim-Sham, and are familiar with the basics of the Tranky-Doo and the Big Apple.
You are beginning to explore improvisation and play with the music.
An ideal level to refine your style and expand your dance vocabulary!

PASS2 : advanced level

Authentic Jazz is an essential part of your life. You are an experienced dancer, comfortable both with learning routines and with improvisation and jams. You enjoy challenging yourself and are ready to explore new approaches to push your dance even further.
You have experience in performance and possibly in teaching, and you enjoy working to develop your own style.

COMPETITIONS.

Our instructors will judge the 2vs2 and 1vs1 All Styles battles.

They are seasoned competitors who understand the codes, stakes, and dedication involved in these competitions.
Their styles, techniques, and mastery of various dances are assets that align with the spirit of the AJT battle.

2vs2 Battle

The qualifications will take place solo in the afternoon. Selected participants will then be paired via a random draw and will compete in duos that same evening to the live band at the We Got Swing party.

The qualifications and finals will take place at Re-Corps (16A Bd de Reuilly, 75012 Paris)

1vs1 All Styles Battle

This is a 1vs1 battle open to all solo dance styles (house, hip hop, waacking, popping, salsa, locking, mambo, breaking, jazz rock, etc.) with the requirement to exclusively express yourself to jazz music.

The qualifications and finals will take place at the Julie Vlasto Gymnasium (8 Pass. Delessert, 75010 Paris)
